HOW CNOTIFY WORKS

Cintech LLC’s cNotify is a hosted communication tool that solves the problem of trying to communicate with a large number of people in a short period of time. In minutes, you can communicate securely with anyone, regardless of their location, using multiple forms of communication.

cNotify uses a combination of phone calls, e-mails and text messages (SMS) to ensure that everyone receives your message. Using cNotify, you can instantly reach users on their home, office, or mobile phone, computer, PDA, and pager.

Here's how it works:

• As shown in the diagram below, a notification is generated from either a secure Web site or through any wired or wireless phone (see 1) - such as from a school administrator or a law enforcement official.

• From the cNotify service, the notification is sent to users in the form of phone calls, e-mails and text messages (see 2), to be delivered based on the phone numbers and e-mail addresses provided by the users.

• Phone calls that cannot be completed (such as due to the line being busy) and e-mails that are returned (due to invalid e-mail addresses) will be tagged and reported on for later correction.

• Equipment is redundant for fail-safety, and is housed at a co-location facility for additional security.
